  • Lecturer – Full Time (Negotiable): Total Remuneration $126,364 to $149,350 pa (including salary of $106,780 to $126,203 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Senior Lecturer – Part Time (0.8 FTE – 58 hrs/fortnight) (Negotiable): Total Remuneration $123,160 to $141,173 pm (including salary of $104,072 to $119,293 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

As a key member of the speech pathology academic team, you will apply your extensive professional and academic expertise to lead and participate in the evaluation, development, and delivery of the 4-year Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) course, currently fully accredited by Speech Pathology Australia. You will also lead and play a significant role in applied research projects that support growth in your areas of clinical and teaching expertise.

 

Based within a small, highly collaborative and dedicated team, you will engage in quality, interactive and inter-professional teaching for small to medium-sized classes, providing an educational experience to our students that is second to none. You will have direct access to CQUniversity’s Rockhampton Health Clinic, a public access clinic with state-of-the-art health facilities, providing an amazing hands-on practical learning environment for your students. We are providing the opportunity for either a full-time Lecturer role or a part-time Senior Lecturer position under a fixed-term contract until December 2024.

Lecturer - Position Requirements

 

  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in the relevant discipline.
  • Current Ordinary Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or eligibility for Ordinary Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Proven history of participation in research with the ability to contribute to research in the School.
  • Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development.

Senior Lecturer - Position Requirements

 

  • Doctoral qualification (PhD) in the relevant discipline.
  • Current Ordinary Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or eligibility for Ordinary Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Proven research track record through recent published research outputs with the ability to contribute to research in the School.
  • Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development.
