  • Commencement Salary: $72,218 (Level A)/$101,784 (Level B)/$123,961 (Level C) per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

Level A/B

This Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology is responsible for contributing to the teaching, research, scholarship, and professional activities of UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance. The teaching focus of this position will primarily be on coordination and teaching in Clinical Exercise Physiology, however, due to an increased focus on multidisciplinary teaching, the position may be required to work with multidisciplinary student groups.

Level C

This Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology will make an outstanding contribution to the academic leadership of UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance’s teaching of undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs, with a primary focus on the Clinical Exercise Physiology discipline. The position will also make innovative contributions to the advancement of teaching and enhance the research profile of the Academic Unit through the development of a program of collaborative research supported by competitive research grant funding.

Essential Skills and Experience

Please refer to the position description for information relating to skills and experience required for Level A, B or C appointment including:

Level A

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a relevant discipline combined with current registration and accreditation (or eligibility) as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)

Level B
  • PhD qualification in a relevant discipline, together with registration (or eligibility) with Exercise and Sports Australia (ESSA) and extensive professional experience

Level C
  • PhD qualification and national and/or international record of achievement in a relevant research field together with current registration (or eligibility) with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Experience and a commitment to high quality, flexible teaching and learning outcomes, including the provision of academic leadership to develop a culture of teaching and learning excellence
  • A successful publication and competitive research grant track record and the ability to enhance the Academic Unit’s research profile through collaborative research and published research findings
