The Role
The School of Business and Law is seeking to appoint a highly capable, impact-oriented academic at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level. Working with the School’s Mental Awareness Respect and Safety (MARS) Centre , and the Business Administration Discipline more broadly, the successful candidate will support curriculum and research initiatives focused on workplace leadership and management, as well as respectful, safe and mentally healthy work. The successful candidate will be undertaking engagement activities with stakeholders from the Western Australian mining industry, and other applied industry settings, to drive better workplace outcomes.

Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will have:

  • A doctoral qualification in an appropriate discipline (essential),
  • Experience contributing to impact-oriented projects with industry partners,
  • Ability to contribute towards curriculum design designed to address industry needs,
  • A strong research trajectory covering one or more of the following areas: leadership, management, employee wellbeing, safety and respect,
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

Benefits and Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of $110,065 - $154,013 (Level B/C) per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
