The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.
Full-time fixed-term position until December 2023
The Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) is a new online offering within the School of Psychology. Building on the extremely successful online Graduate Diploma of Psychology, which has strong and growing enrolments, the Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) will be the next step for graduates.
We require an academic able to develop and teach content in the Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced courses “Professional and Interpersonal Skills” and “Psychological Applications and Interventions”. Expertise in interviewing and psychological interventions is essential. Qualitative methods would also be desirable, but is not essential.
To be successful you will need:
- Evidence of strong grasp of pedagogical and andragogical principles and other notable educational and learning design philosophies, strategies and theories, and ability to apply those concepts.
- Ability to transform complex and disparate learning resources into professionally designed and effective programs and curriculum.
- Extensive knowledge of external governance and compliance requirements for higher education curriculum, including AQF and TEQSA.
- Knowledge of accreditation and quality standards as they relate to program and curriculum design.
- Doctoral qualification required and registration as a psychologist is desirable.
