The role
The Business Systems and Operations Discipline within the School of Business and Law is comprised of high performing, scholarly and impact-oriented academics who seek to transform lives and enrich society through their research, teaching and engagement activities.

The teaching profile of the Discipline encompasses programs and specialisations in management information systems, supply chain and logistics management, business analytics and project management. Teaching is delivered in a variety of modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid, spanned) and formats (weekly classes, intensive, block delivery, accelerated online).

The Discipline is seeking to appoint a Teaching and Research Scholar (ALEVB) in the areas of:

  • Project Management
  • Management Information Systems
  • Business Analytics

Successful appointees will demonstrate capability in undertaking high-quality, engaging research that meaningfully contributes to business practice and creates a positive societal impact. They will have an excellent track-record of providing a learner-centred pedagogy that is supportive and inclusive of diverse groups of people, with a large focus on advancing work-integrated learning and job-ready skills.

Essential criteria
To be considered for these opportunities you will need to have:

  • Successfully completed a PhD in a relevant discipline
  • An established record of research and higher education teaching experience in one or more of the three areas above

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of $102,253 – $120,814 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.

Visa sponsorship and/or a relocation package may be negotiated for suitably qualified international and interstate candidates.
