Are you a dynamically skilled, successful PR professional who's passionate about staying ahead of changing industry trends?  

Does the idea of preparing future PR professionals to communicate with stakeholders across all facets of business and industries excite you?

A day in this exciting role will include (but won't be limited) to the following:

  • Contributing to curriculum innovation and design to develop students learning
  • Determining the learning needs of students and providing appropriate teaching and learning support to demonstrate the intended learning outcomes.
  • Conducting learning activities online, distributed or face-to-face as appropriate, which stimulate and foster student learning.
  • Supervising the program of study of honours students or postgraduate students engaged in coursework and HDR students, as appropriate.

Essential Criteria:

  • A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (or substantial progress towards confirmation of a doctoral qualification, combined with considerable practice and experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise in innovative course design and delivery
  • A strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
  • A working knowledge of contemporary thinking, best practice approaches and scholarship in public relations.
  • An emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience/capacity to undertake unit coordination.
  • Team player with emerging/established industry networks
