An exciting opportunity exists for a
Professional Project Managerto join the School of Design and the Built Environment as a
teaching-focused Lecturer.

In your new role, you will be part of a vibrant institution and a dynamic team with a passion for teaching, research, and community engagement. The important work you do will contribute to the overall output of excellence in teaching in the school.
The successful candidate will be a passionate educator with relevant industry experience who will have the ability to develop and deliver curriculum in our growing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees. This will involve the coordination and/or teaching of units both in person and online. An ability to connect emerging technologies and professional practices in project management will be highly regarded. The position will involve engaging with students, collaborators, and industry partners.
If you would like to be considered for a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia. If you would like to be considered for a fixed-term role, you will require work rights that match the duration of the contract. Visa sponsorship and relocation support will only be considered in limited situations.
The successful applicant will ideally commence in the role as early as possible in 2023.

Essential Requirements:
- A Masters degree or PhD in Project Management, or a directly related field.
- Evidence of industry experience as a Project Manager
- Evidence of the development and delivery of high-quality teaching in Project Management and/or its related fields.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated ability to provide mentoring to less experienced staff and supervise HDR students.
- Track record of engagement with industry, community, or government in relation to teaching.
- Professionally recognised credentials or memberships (e.g. PMP, RegPM, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc.)
