About the Faculty of Health Sciences:

The Faculty of Health Sciences comprises three schools: Allied Health, Behavioural and Health Sciences and Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine. There are currently approximately 14,000 students (EFTSL) and 530 (FTE) staff in the faculty under the disciplines: occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, exercise science, exercise physiology, nutrition science,
biomedical science, nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, physiotherapy, psychology and public health.

About the National School of Behavioural and Health Sciences:

The National School of Behavioural and Health Sciences is located on seven of the university's campuses: Brisbane, Blacktown, Strathfield, North Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Ballarat. The school is responsible for delivery of programs in six professional disciplines: Biomedical Science, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Nutrition Science, Public Health and Psychology. About the role:

As Lecturer (Practitioner in Nutrition and Dietetics), you'll make a significant contribution to the academic and administrative activities of the school, through the delivery of Master of Dietetic Practice placements at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM). You will bring a commitment to excellence in academic and clinical/practice teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contribute substantially to the development, delivery and leadership of the professional practice placement program. The successful candidate will be co-located across the campuses of ACU Melbourne and SVHM, reporting to the ACU School of Behavioural and Health Sciences.

  • Total remuneration valued to $134,709 - $158,885 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $113,831 - $134,397 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
