Overview
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse with a passion for nursing and its future to join our innovative, energetic, forward-thinking team on our picturesque Joondalup campus located in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to make a difference at ECU through innovation in research, teaching and learning.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery is at the cutting-edge of nurse education and research. We graduate the most registered nurses in Western Australia, as well as provide a comprehensive range of postgraduate programs of study which prepare students for positions in the nursing and midwifery professions.  The School also undertakes research at a level above world standard, with our work being cited 1 ½ times more than the word average in collaboration with our well-established health care partnerships. Selection criteria 
The successful applicant: 

  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
  • Will have made progress towards completion of a PhD or committed to commencing one;
  • Will have completed postgraduate qualifications in education and/or relevant to the discipline;
  • Will demonstrate education experience within a tertiary or clinical education setting;
  • Will have undertaken research activities within a tertiary education or clinical practice setting;
  • Will demonstrate a sound professional and academic track record in nursing.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that align with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Formal mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attract a salary of $75,193 to $100,797 PA plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
