About the opportunity

We are seeking a Lecturer to join our epidemiology team within the public health discipline in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research and service. The incumbent will participate in course convenorship, teaching, program and course development, as well as the supervision of honours, masters and higher degree by research students.

This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Gold Coast campus and it is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role. Further, you may be required to work on either a temporary or an indefinite basis at any premises, which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire or at any premises at which it may from time to time provide services.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have a strong research track record, including a demonstrated interest in the conduct of social epidemiological studies. You will also hav a proven track record in the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning outputs. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in establishing collaborative partnerships that support learning and teaching, research and service with the public health profession, the health industry and the broader community.

Salary range
Academic Level B Base Salary: $98,174 - $116,584 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation $114,863 - $136,404 per annum.
