Job Description

This is a full-time continuing position at Academic B, $101,598 - $120,647, classification + 17% superannuation, working 36.75 hours per week.

  • Deliver high quality material to our psychology students
  • Develop your research in psychology
  • The position is located at our Footscray Park Campus.

About the role

The role of the Lecturer in Psychology will contributing to teaching and research in the Psychology Discipline. Academic supervision of students undertaking research will be a feature of this role, as will the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods which align with contemporary practice.

About the person

You will be expected to hold a PhD in Psychology and will have experience teaching at the tertiary level, with a commitment to excellence and innovation in curriculum development and delivery. You will have a demonstrated record of peer reviewed publications.  Registration as a psychologist with endorsement in an area of practice (or pathway towards endorsement) is desired, but not necessary for this position.

Duties

  • Delivering high quality teaching experiences to our students
