About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer in Policing to join the team at the School of Social Sciences.

The Lecturer will be expected to make a substantial contribution to:

  • The teaching of criminology and policing, curriculum development and quality improvement.
  • The supervision of research students.
  • The research direction of the School and specifically the Criminology and Policing work group (in relation to ERA FOR code 1602) including regular publication in high impact national and international journals in criminology, criminal justice and social sciences, and the acquisition of competitive external research funding.

This position will be based at the Liverpool city campus of the University and you may be required to work from and/or attend meetings across any of the other Western Sydney University Campuses.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $131,136 to $154,738 p.a. (comprising Salary of $110,811 to $130,846 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
