Overview
As part of the ongoing growth of science at ECU, the School of Science has recently committed to establishing both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research in Horticultural Science.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our staff as a Lecturer (Academic Level B) who will teach and undertake research in Horticulture and contribute to the development of the new discipline at ECU.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in Horticultural, Agricultural Science, or a related area and have an understanding of horticultural production in the Australian and global context.

You must have experience in undergraduate teaching both online and on campus. A relevant research track record as evidenced by publications is essential, while research grants and experience in the supervision of postgraduate students are desirable. A demonstrated ability to work with others, and in teams, is also required. The successful applicant will also have a strong commitment to quality teaching and learning, and experience working with both domestic and international students.

This position is only available to Australian and international applicants who are able to meet the entry requirements of Western Australia’s pandemic-related controlled border.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $102,253 to $120,814 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
