  • Level B - TRP $117,562 - $138,831 pro rata per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation

About the position

This role will contribute to the teaching of the History and Environmental Humanities majors, to coordinate and deliver one undergraduate subject: ENV1GEV in Semester 1 of 2023). ENV1GEV is an established subject with existing developed resources, but some redevelopment may be required prior to their delivery. The successful candidate will also contribute to the activities of the Centre for the Study of the Inland and will be encouraged and supported to continue with their own research activities, including developing research programs and funding proposals, undertaking primary research, and the publication and dissemination of that research.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • PhD in a discipline of the environmental humanities.
  • Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development.
  • Evidence of high quality and/or high impact research conducted and published or otherwise disseminated, relative to opportunity
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, or co-supervise, honours and postgraduate students.
