An exciting continuing, full-time opportunity has become available for an experienced Lecturer in Engineering (Resource Systems) to join the School of Engineering and Technology at CQUniversity. Our focus is on engaged and innovative education to benefit students, industry, and communities. By providing positive graduate outcomes and offerings designed in collaboration with industry and business, we ensure students receive up-to-date, real-world skills.

As a Lecturer you will make significant contributions to the teaching effort, scholarship and research activities in the School of Engineering and Technology and contribute to a positive team culture through effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required:

• Possession of a PhD in civil engineering or related discipline with industrial experience, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant industrial experience.
• Quality teaching and learning facilitation experience across a range of teaching and learning styles including flexible delivery modes and multi-campus delivery.
• Ability and preparedness to engage with industry and community organisations in the provision of research and entrepreneurial services and relevant educational programs.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in research in areas of research strength and contribution to research teams, including ability to supervisor honours and postgraduate students.

Desirable:

• Membership of Engineers Australia (EA) preferred.
