  • Level B - $98,510 - $116,332 per annum + up to 17% superannuation

About the position

The School of Psychology & Public Health undertakes teaching and research across a broad range of disciplines. The Department of Psychology and Counselling, which sits within this School, is recognised as a leading authority in many areas of psychology.

In this position as a registered Clinical Psychologist, you will develop innovative curriculum, teach within the APAC-accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and contribute to the research profile of the Department of Psychology and Counselling, as well as supporting students as they learn through both online and blended learning.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have completed a PhD in a relevant discipline or have equivalent accreditation and standing.

You will be fully registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and hold full membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Psychological Society, as well as Clinical Psychology endorsement (or be working towards this) with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and be registered (or working towards) as a supervising psychologist at the higher degree program level by the PsyBA.

You will possess a strong record of research publications relative to opportunity, experience in preparing research proposals and demonstrated capacity in curriculum development and teaching.

Your ability to mentor and supervise honours and postgraduate students, and encourage intellectual development and career aspirations of students, will see you succeed in this role.
