(Level B) $100,933 to $119,391 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Continuing, full-time opportunity available from Semester 2, 2022.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer with expertise in housing, public policy, architecture, or a closely related subject.

The Australian Centre for Housing Research is a research unit focused on applied housing research. The Centre undertakes externally funded research work for a variety of government and not-for-profit sector clients, as well as competitively funded academic research (for example the Australian Research Council).

The successful candidate will play a role in building the research focus of the Centre. The post holder will be expected to show leadership in the identification of funded research opportunities, development and submission of proposals and tenders. There is an expectation that the position will teach into geography, housing, population courses related to the Centre’s goals.

To be successful you will need:

  • A PhD in, housing, public policy, architecture.
  • Experience working in a competitive research environment in an area focused on housing and urban research.
  • Proven track record in attracting competitive external research funds.
  • Experience of university teaching in housing or urban courses.
  • Leadership experience in project administration.
  • Academic publication record commensurate with the level of the position.
