(Level B) $100,933 to $119,391 (pro rata) plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation may apply. A clinical loading may also apply to this position.

Multiple part-time, fixed term opportunities available within our Adelaide Medical School for commencement in 2022 for 12 months:

  • Up to 0.4 FTE lecturer positions in Medical Personal and Professional Development. 
  • Up to 0.6 FTE lecturer positions in Clinical Practice.

Based at the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building on North Tce, Adelaide, these Lecturer roles will be responsible for course coordination and teaching into a Medical Personal and Professional (MPPD) course or a Clinical Practice (CP) course. The courses are offered in the pre-clinical (Years 2-3) of the Adelaide Medical School’s Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. 

Working collaboratively in a team with other academics to enhance the MPPD and CP courses, the successful candidates will play a pivotal role in the current medical program and have opportunities to develop innovative, context relevant teaching and assessment activities. 

To be successful you will need: 

  • A MBBS or equivalent medical degree registerable in Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching in Clinical Practice and/or a Medical Professionalism and Leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience of undergraduate teaching in a medical program and experience in student support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in an inter-professional team environment.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and information technologies to support student learning.
