About the opportunity 

The Facilties Management unit in the Faculty of Medicine and Health has an opportunity available for a Health Coordination Officer to join the team.  Reporting to the Health Coordination Manager, the Health Coordination Officer provides superior administrative support to the Facilities team to support the effective organisation and operations of the FMH community and spaces and is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of the Faculty and its seven academic schools, clinics, and the greater Health Precincts (Sydney, West and North).  

The Health Coordination Officer supports Faculty general space, administrative support spaces (resource rooms, kitchenettes, utility rooms, stores) and workspaces including relocation and reallocation, updating, and managing space occupancy and dynamic allocation and function including activity-based working and agreed flexible work arrangements.  The role is also responsible for supporting the resourcing of assets, consumables, IT hardware provisioning, workspace furniture and other specialist items

The Health Coordination Officer interacts with a wide range of stakeholders including teaching and research staff, professional staff, clinicians, trades people and visitors to the Susan Wakil Health Building.  The Health Coordination Officer may be expected to operate as needs require from the multiple precinct locations of the Faculty in the greater Sydney area.
