About the role

The Learning Technologist as a core member of UWA College’s Teaching and Learning team, serving as a central source of expertise for academic staff, and international students. This position plays a vital role in the development of e-learning products, hosting content on the University’s Learning Management System (Blackboard) and supporting the hybrid delivery of classes.

You will be responsible for the promotion of effective technology in teaching and learning for delivery which includes online, face-to-face and hybrid teaching. You will support on the pedagogical design of online and blended delivery courses. Additionally, you are required to ensure that teachers responsible for delivering online content within courses are appropriately trained.

You will work closely with the Academic Director and the Program Managers to develop the use of technology in the College.

This position will suit you if you are able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills in e-learning content building and multimedia production processes, the use of specialist tools and online course development methodologies and enjoy working on multiple projects. You will also have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, to support learner engagement.

Location

The position is based in Perth, at The University of Western Australia Crawley campus.
