This role is an opportunity to embody collaboration, flexibility and innovation in the delivery of online resources and library support for the University’s learning and teaching activities.

The successful applicant will lead the Learning Support team to develop quality, consistent and sustainable learning resources, and will proactively build collaborative relationships across the University. You will lead the implementation and champion the Library’s Learning and Teaching Principles so it will be important to recruit an individual with strong alignment with the values captured in the Principles.

The role leads the operational management of library learning and teaching support services, including the development and integration of digital and information literacy into academic programs and library resources. A key aspect to this role is managing and coordinating a team which works closely with, and contributes capacity to the academic outreach and engagement team.

To be successful you will need: 

  • Demonstrated experience in conceiving and delivering teaching and learning support services in a higher education environment.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging pedagogical practice, digital capabilities and graduate attributes.
  • Proven experience in developing productive stakeholder relationships including working with academic staff and students to develop co-created materials.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and problem solving skills, self-motivation and project management, with an ability to manage complex workflows and concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships to achieve desired outcomes.
