About the Role
As the ITS Senior Communications Manager, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, business champions, staff and students, to develop and enact robust communication plans and artefacts. You will work alongside senior leaders within ITS to develop, adopt and effectively use ITS communication initiatives, processes and systems.

Key Duties:

  • Drive proactive ITS communications, engaging stakeholders and providing accessible information to staff and students.
  • Develop and implement an effective communication strategy for ITS.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate work, ensuring objectives are met and fostering career development.
  • Manage ITS communication channels, including the OITS website, and capture interesting stories about ITS work and impacts.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance engagement and manage issues.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and identify opportunities for engagement programs for the University Community.
  • Identify ways to innovate ITS internal communications.
  • Uplift communication capability within ITS providing advice and support on ITS communication artefacts and the preparation of communication plans.
