Continuing, full-time position available

Become a key member of the IT Digital Transformation leadership team who is responsible for defining the delivery strategy and delivering a range of initiatives / projects and associated benefits that enable digital transformation and growth across the University.

The successful candidate will lead a team of internal and vendor project managers, to plan, develop and deliver cost effective and efficient programs of projects, drive innovation within the teams to align to business needs, while fostering and nurturing a positive and high performing culture.

In order to work effectively with our geographically dispersed teams and vendor partners, some work outside of standard hours may be required.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-wide Digital Transformation Programs from inception (business case development), through to completion with a focus on benefits realisation.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation, including experience managing multiple vendors across a matrix of products / services.
  • Financial acumen and demonstrated experience managing large project / program financial budgets ($10mil+) and cashflow effectively.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, risk management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience utilising Agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) methods for project and program delivery.
