Due to project growth, we are currently seeking two Research Project Officers with experience in Iron Ore Processing to join our team on a 2~ year specified term. 


CSIRO Mineral Resources (CMR) is one of the largest minerals R&D groups in the world, with ~350 employees, and has a proud track record of supporting industrial innovation across the minerals value chain. We apply our expert knowledge and specialised research to deliver technologies and solutions that solve complex and challenging problems faced by minerals and METS (mining equipment, technology, and services) companies, governments, and other industry stakeholders.


As an Iron Ore Processing Research Projects Officer, you will be involved in all aspects of laboratory and pilot scale testing, focusing particularly on sintering and pelletising, and iron ore reduction as well as metallurgical testing of lump and agglomerated products. You will have access to a range of characterisation, solid/gas reactors as well as state-of-the-art pilot scale facilities. 


This is a Monday to Friday position, based on site at Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies (QCAT) in Pullenvale, QLD.
