We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated International Recruitment Officer with proven experience in student recruitment and agent engagement in the onshore international market.

The Marketing and Recruitment branch provides leadership in positioning the University of Adelaide within the higher education sector, both in Australia and globally; and contributes significantly towards the University’s financial targets through driving student revenue generation. The Marketing and Recruitment branch is responsible for strategic marketing, communications and recruitment activities that enhance the University of Adelaide’s brand, increase engagement and ensure business sustainability through generating student demand. The Branch delivers a suite of effective marketing and recruitment services and resources.

Working under general direction of The Regional Manager (Oceania), the International Recruitment Officer supports the day-to-day delivery of student recruitment strategies and programs to attract international students to The University of Adelaide. This role ensures participation in local programs and events and build relationships with education agents, partners, high schools and stakeholders, with the overall goal to build The University of Adelaide’s profile in the regions.

To be successful you will need:

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills; including the ability to provide high level advice, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promote a strong positive team culture.
  • Ability to give public presentations to suit different audiences, including prospective students at High Schools and international education agents, in a culturally diverse environment.
  • High level organisational skills and demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks, implementing plans to achieve defined outcomes, and solving problems in an innovative and creative manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop key selling messages and implement recruitment programs, initiatives and activities to effectively showcase a product or service with a focus on quality improvement and customer experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply University and government policies and procedures.
