  • Commencement Salary: $82,077 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

With a direct reporting line to the Manager: International Recruitment, the International Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the design, implementation, coordination, and delivery of the University’s international recruitment activities in China, as well as supporting recruitment activities within the wider regional team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement international recruitment plans and initiatives
  • Manage recruitment activities, including agents and representatives within protocol, policy and legislative guidelines
  • Provide input and advice into the planning and forecasting processes
  • Identify and recommend potential new markets and business development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain high levels of working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and contribute to Chinese social media schedules and posts with the Global Digital Recruitment and lead management teams

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
  • Proven ability in developing and executing innovative recruitment activities
  • Demonstrated project management skills including experience in targeted market research, sound investigative abilities, advanced writing and reporting skills and an analytical approach to creative thinking style
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively to identify and connect with new opportunities to generate increased market share
  • Strong and confident communication and interpersonal attributes
