About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an education professional to join our team-Asia Education Foundation (AEF). As the International Education Coordinator at AEF, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver innovative teacher professional learning and student programs that connect Australian schools with 23 nations in Asia and the Pacific. 

Reporting to the Director-International, you will play a key role in enabling Australian schools to connect with the wider region and contribute to collective prosperity and security. This role offers a chance to make a real difference in education and to develop rich professional networks.  

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supports the operational aspects of the International Education Partnerships team  
  • Develop and delivery professional learning programs  
  • Coordinates program resources, schedules, and information services for educators and youth  
  • Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to tailor programs  
  • Travel overseas may be required 

Who we are looking for
We’re looking for an individual who has excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build a robust relationship with stakeholders from various backgrounds. You need also work well within a team and work independently.  

You will also have: 

  • Completion of a relevant education degree with substantial relevant education-related experience 
  • Demonstrated capacity to coordinate, design and deliver high-impact professional learning and student programs in international education contexts 
  • Experience in coordinating engagement activities and learning strategies focused on primary and/or secondary school-aged students, including sound pedagogical knowledge  
  • Experience working with international education contexts and stakeholders  
  • Proficient in digital skills with online teaching and learning
