About the Role
Reporting to the Coordinator: International Admissions, the International Admissions Officer role is responsible for a broad range of duties that support the admissions of international students into UniSA undergraduate and postgraduate programs of study. This involves assessing applications, managing application-related enquiries, issuing offers and processing acceptances, and includes periods of high-volume application processing. This key role will also support various onshore and offshore recruitment events run by the international recruitment team. As an International Admissions Officer, you will provide advice and information to prospective students to ensure compliance with the Educational Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act.

Core Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality advice and support to international students in relation to admissions procedures and decisions
- Develop and foster relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally to the University
- Assess and process student applications, generate offers for admission to programs and other related cohorts
- Support local and international student recruitment events providing assistance and program advice to prospective students
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of international administration improvement initiatives
- Maintain prospective student data in relevant systems such as StudyLink and Medici
Essential Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary qualifications or equivalent experience, knowledge and skills in a relevant area are essential
- Previous experience and understanding of the international student application process and the provision of advice to students and stakeholders
- High quality, responsive student service experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with well-developed computing and administrative information systems skills
- Organisational skills and experience working to tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new procedures and processes in the delivery of quality service
