Overview

ECU International Business Operations, a part of the International Office, is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as an International Account Manager. ECU has experienced impressive growth in international enrolments, and we aim to be a sector leader in the national recovery of international education.  Our team is responsible for building and maintaining international partnerships, contributing to maximising ECU's international revenue and growth. 

In this role, you will be managing and developing key regions within designated markets to drive growth in international student enrolments and sustain productive relationships with overseas education agents, institutions and other business partners.

The Role

Under the guidance of the Manager International Operations and working with a range of internal stakeholders to optimise international operations and results in designated markets this position’s key responsibilities include:

  • ECU International Market Strategy:  Develop and implement a yearly regional plan to set a blueprint for the market activities to maximise international student acquisition and guide future investment for ECU Schools and Centres.
  • Conversion optimisation:  Design result-oriented and efficient pipeline management tactics.
  • Education Agent Performance Management:  Mitigate risk and maintain a high-quality network of international education agents and partners by monitoring and reviewing partner performance yearly, and implementing necessary adjustments to the network as required.
  • Growth Enhancement:  Utilise ECU’s digital ecosystem embedded in International Operations to maximise business partner performance.
  • In-Market Recruitment Team Management:  Manage and mentor a regional in-market recruitment team, to maintain ECU’s competitive market positioning and high levels of partner support.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of building and maintaining international partnerships.  In addition, they would possess strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and be solution-focused with the ability to influence others through creative thinking.

Key Criteria

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strong relationships within Australia’s international education sector, preferably within higher education; 
  • Knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and market intelligence tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for the international education sector.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $106,877 to $120,376 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
