Overview

The International Portfolio is responsible for leading the University’s international growth, engagement and the establishment of new international education and commercial enterprises. It manages the University’s principal international partnerships, and it develops and supports international relationships that: enhance the University’s global reputation; grow international student participation and income; deliver high quality transnational education programs; attract students to the University through international partnerships and pathways; secure access to new resources for research and research students; and, enables student and staff mobility for collaboration with international partners. The portfolio performs strategic planning and development functions in very close conjunction with Schools to support their success in the diverse activities which exemplify ECU’s Internationalisation.

The Role

International Business Operations is seeking suitably experienced candidates with an interest in international education for the position of International Account Coordinator - Strategic Partnerships.

Working with limited direction from the International Account Manager, you will support the successful negotiation, onboarding, and maintenance of strategic offsite partners to support the University’s international business development goals.

You will conduct research to determine “best-fit” partnerships; design, develop, and create content suitable for offsite digital partner channels, and assist in producing reporting and insights which measure return on investment of these partnerships.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Key Criteria:

  • Ability to identify high-value business opportunities and follow-through with delivery of business proposals, briefs, that contribute value to the wider-team
  • Strong communication skills, with experience designing content for international or diverse audiences;
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating email or digital marketing activities, such as assisting in the content maintenance of digital portals/marketplaces managed by third-party vendors;
  • Financial and business acumen, including the ability to work with set resources to achieve goals, cost projects, track expenditure, and measure return on investment;
  • Experience utilising CRM systems, such as Salesforce, to complete contract management data entry and to deliver reporting and insights which support business development activities;
  • Capacity to think outside the box and suggest novel ideas that contribute to provision of innovative business services which enhance the customer experience.
  • Interest in digital analytics

Whilst not mandatory, previous experience in international or domestic student recruitment is highly regarded.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $82,658  to $89,180 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
