Overview

The International Portfolio is responsible for leading the University’s international growth, engagement and the establishment of new international education and commercial enterprises. It manages the University’s principal international partnerships, and it develops and supports international relationships that: enhance the University’s global reputation; grow international student participation and income; deliver high quality transnational education programs; attract students to the University through international partnerships and pathways; secure access to new resources for research and research students; and, enables student and staff mobility for collaboration with international partners. The portfolio performs strategic planning and development functions in very close conjunction with Schools to support their success in the diverse activities which exemplify ECU’s Internationalisation.

The role

International Business Operations is seeking suitably experienced candidates with an interest in international education for the position of International Account Coordinator - Business Improvement. 

Working with limited direction from the International Account Manager, you will design, develop, and implement business and process improvement initiatives which enhance offshore, international market growth activities and support business continuity procedures. 

In particular, this role will be responsible for streamlining international agent application pipeline management processes. You will work closely with the International Business Operations team and other key staff from internal areas, such as Student Administration, alongside external business partners, to maximise resourcing efficiencies and create significant application conversion gains.

Key Criteria

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in the preparation of reports, briefs, and process-mapping exercises.
  • Demonstrated understanding of international admissions assessment and application processes, in the context of vocational or higher education.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to form good working relationships with stakeholders and proactively attend to their continuity.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, spreadsheet data-matching, analysis, and visualisation techniques to support reporting requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to technical software and products, such as Microsoft Power Platform suite, Salesforce, Tableau, Callista, and other university student management products.
  • Comfortable presenting complex ideas, processes, or systems in a simplified manner, catering to international audiences.
  • Passion for data-driven decision making with respect to international education, and its role in the wider university context.

Whilst not mandatory, previous experience in sales from a domestic or international student recruitment perspective is highly regarded.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $82,658 to $89,180 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
