- Analyst role within the Integration Development Team

About the Role
Join Swinburne University in this dynamic senior role as Integration Analyst where you will utilise strong communication, technical and analytical skills to assist the Integration Development Team with stakeholder interaction, requirements gathering and be responsible for managing and planning testing activities across multiple IT applications and integration services.
The Integration Development team sits within the Information Technology department as part of the IT Digital Technology Delivery area and focuses on building and supporting services that underpin business processes and integrating these systems to provide data between the many applications used by the University.
In this role, you will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to conduct business analysis activities to gather and define requirements, and to plan, define, execute, and report application level technical testing activities based on defined standards & frameworks as provided by the Testing & Quality team. Although the role is primarily focused on the Integration Development team, you will also on occasion be required to assist the Application, Web and Automation development teams and will work horizontally across the 4 software development functions.
We are seeking an individual with extensive hands-on experience, who is passionate when it comes to driving a high standard of customer service and working with stakeholders to solve business and technical challenges. As the solutions will be technically oriented and heavily data driven, strong data analytical skills are essential.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- 5+ years of hands-on testing experience in a full-time technical testing capacity.
- Hands-on experience in advanced test automation and framework building, and performance test scripting and execution.
- Experience in creating project level Nonfunctional Test Strategies with the ability to create nonfunctional test reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate stakeholders, business and technical resources for the purposes of requirements gathering and/or QA purposes.
- Prior experience with the MuleSoft integration platform and StudentOne student administration system will be highly regarded.
- Prior experience performing technical analysis and technical requirements gathering is preferred.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar tertiary qualification.
