($123,881 - $132,534) salary scale per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

*Fixed term position available (for 36 months)

The Institute Manager will contribute to formulating and implementing the strategic direction of the Institute, provide co-ordination around the delivery of major research programs and assist in the management of stakeholders and clients, both internal and external. The successful candidate will operate with a high overall degree of autonomy, and work in collaboration with other University Research Institutes and the University of Adelaide, as required.

To be successful you will need:

• Demonstrated ability and experience in operational, financial, contractual and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability in business development of research projects and support for external partnerships.
• Delivers excellent outcomes within deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
