Lead the development of an institution wide evaluation strategy for Student Learning Initiatives.

Working under broad direction with a considerable degree of autonomy, the Insights and Evaluation Manager will work to support the achievement of the University’s strategic goals, including developing a strategy to evaluate key Student Learning initiatives. The Insights and Evaluation Manager has overall responsibility for capturing data relevant to student learning initiatives, monitoring performance against institutional targets, evaluating impact and communicating with key stakeholders. 

The Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) provides leadership in achieving the University's strategic goals in relation to learning and teaching, including the provision of a high-quality student experience across the University. The Student Learning portfolio, led by the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Student Learning) PVC(SL), focuses on quality assurance, enhancement and innovation in learning and teaching.

To be successful you will need:

  • Extensive experience and expertise in developing high level evaluation strategy.
  • Advanced quantitative and qualitative research and analysis skills in a social science related field.
  • Excellent report writing skills with demonstrated capability to produce high quality reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas to a wide range of audiences in range of formats.
  • Advanced working knowledge of relevant survey, analysis and reporting software.
