About the Role
Join our Smart Campus team as the Infrastructure Lead responsible for managing the platform's physical IoT and cloud infrastructure. This includes overseeing system integrations and engaging with stakeholders to innovate services and products. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the platform's governance and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Innovate and maintain the University's IoT devices and supporting communication networks, ensuring compliance with Service Levels and security standards
  • Test and certify new IoT devices before deployment in Smart Campus environments
  • Lead and participate in the deployment of new IoT endpoints and supporting infrastructure, including service design
  • Innovate and manage system integrations, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and operational targets

Who we are looking for
You will have expertise with the AWS product suite, system integrations, and agile/devOps methodologies. You should also excel in technical documentation and process design with a service management focus.

You will also have:

  • An extensive and demonstrable knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) deployment patterns inclusive of sensor selection, communication networks and platform integrations.
  • Significant and demonstrable exposure to the AWS product ecosystem, with a particular focus on IoT Core, API Gateway, S3, Kinesis and Direct Connect
