  • One (1) Full-time continuing position and one (1) full-time fixed term contract until 23 December 2022
  • Commencement Salary: $71,205 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

We are seeking two Information Technologists: Campus Support to join the team within Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS) at UniSA.

You will provide end user computing, audio visual and telecommunications support. This position is part of a virtual team focused on suburban and regional campus IT support which includes providing remote support to staff and students on any campus when local needs have been met. The work encompasses daily routine tasks and resolving a range of IT requests which either rely, or impact on the end user computing environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain staff and student designated information technologies, services or applications and assisting with diagnosis and rectification of network and system related problems
  • Actively support teaching technologies including, pools, the standard desktop environment, mobile computing and telephony devices and associated services including audio visual equipment
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incident reports and resolve technical faults reported
  • Provide advice and assistance relating to the Standard Operating Environment for end user computing devices systems including telephony


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the support and maintenance of information technologies including networked desktop workstation applications, i.e. Microsoft Office, shared folders, networked printers, email and web based applications and audio visual equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to collaborate effectively with a virtual multi-site team
  • Experience supporting end user devices and network hardware support including computers and telephones connected to a complex wired and wireless network environment
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, a high-level of customer service including effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the ITIL service management framework, particularly in relation to incident and change management
