Overview
Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a large, multi-campus university serving communities nationally and internationally. Digital and Campus Services brings together and optimises the digital and physical environments for students and staff; supporting their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs. The Information Security, Risk and Governance team is responsible for the delivery of information security controls, including risk management, governance, monitoring, managing, reporting, accreditation and compliance for Digital and Campus Services.

The Position Requirements
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic life-long learner who demonstrates currency in their field. You will have the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team and have substantial knowledge and experience with security devices, software and threats.

The successful applicant will have 2-5 years experience in a similar role. The key aspects of the role are
•    Vulnerability remediation
•    Security event analysis and monitoring
•    On-Call requirement for priority security events
•    Analysis, Reporting and configuration of firewalls and SIEM
•    Implementing Proactive Threat Intelligence feeds

You must demonstrate experience and working knowledge with firewalls, SIEMS and vulnerability technologies.

It is desirable that you have experience with Cloud Based security controls.
