The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) is owned by the three South Australian universities (University of Adelaide, Flinders University and University of South Australia), Charles Darwin University, and TAFE SA. SATAC manages centralised application and admissions processes on behalf of the owners and on a fee for service basis for other institutions.

SATAC’s Applicant Services team provides a comprehensive information service to SATAC’s customers, is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of printed and digital publications, administers the clerical process governing the inflow and outflow of correspondence with applicants and other stakeholders, contributes to the development of SATAC’s admissions system and processes, and administers the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT).

We are seeking a committed individual with experience in customer service to fulfil the post of Information Officer, providing a comprehensive information and enquiry service to applicants and other members of the public via telephone, in-person, email and/or other communication medium, as well as contributing to specific administrative and invigilation support duties.

Salary: (HEO5) $67,262 to $75,057 per annum pro rata, permanent part-time 0.8FTE

Superannuation: An employer contribution of 17% may apply.

Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately. 

Position requirements

To be successful you should have: 

  • Proven dedication to customer service.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with a high-level of attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven keyboard skills and demonstrated familiarity with standard office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work constructively in a team.
