About the Role

The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking to appoint an experienced nurse academic with demonstrated innovation and commitment to nursing education for appointment.  

You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Division 1 Registered Nurse in Australia and have expertise and experience in nurse education in university-based programs.

You will have outstanding skills and qualities in research and education delivery with a focus on quality teaching, curriculum development and student engagement, playing a major role in teaching within the undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.  

For appointment at Level B, you must have a tertiary qualification in nursing or similar field of knowledge, including a Master's qualification in a relevant field, or knowledge and professional experience at an equivalent level.

The position will be based at the Parramatta South Campus with the expectation of travel to other campuses where required.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $131,136 to $154,738 p.a. (comprising Salary of $110,811 to $130,846 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
