POSITION SUMMARY

RMIT University is seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the Manager Equitable Learning & Accessibility, the IDEA Advisor will work collaboratively across the university to embed best practices and drive cultural change to advance RMIT's commitment to IDEA among all university stakeholders.  This is a specialist position with subject matter expertise on inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Relevant undergraduate qualifications in social sciences, social work, public health, psychology, or a related field.  Master’s preferred.
  • Experience in IDEA roles, including strategy development, program implementation, training facilitation and data analysis for students and staff.
  • Passionate about advancing student IDEA and making a positive impact on organizational culture.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 6.5  (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines). 
For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
