• HEW 6 salary + 17% superannuation

About the Role 
An exciting opportunity has become available at Swinburne University for an In2science Coordinator!

The coordinator position will be the point of call for the innovative and award-winning education peer mentoring program run not only at Swinburne University but also at 4 other major Australian Universities. The coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and training student volunteers and coordinating placements in secondary school science and maths classes, with the aim of encouraging an interest STEM and building aspiration towards higher education. The coordinator will also have the opportunity to work with the other coordinators across universities and the In2science Program Manager (based at La Trobe). This role would suit someone who has excellent relationship and project management skills. 

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and manage multiple tasks  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with a diversity of individuals from both within and outside the organisation 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic environment 
• Excellent problem-solving skills including demonstrated ability to resolve issues 
• Demonstrated ability to train others 

• Completion of a STEM degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
