About the opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an InPlace System Support Officer within the College of Health and Medicine.

Quality Professional Experience Placements (PEP) are integral to the professional degree programs offered by the University. The InPlace System Support Team communicates consistency of processes, guidelines and procedures related to PEP and manages the placement management system called InPlace. Support is provided for the College of Health and Medicine and the College of Arts, Law and Education, with further scope for growth. The InPlace System Support Team is part of the College of Health and Medicine PEP team.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a high-level understanding of the InPlace system and work closely with the InPlace System Support Team.
  • Prepare and run InPlace training sessions and create internal user guides, documentation, and training materials, and conduct discipline-specific training sessions as required.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff from Colleges, Schools, IT Services and the software provider.
  • Coordinate system upgrades with software provider.
  • Provide high level administrative support to steering committees including the preparation of documentation and coordination of meetings.

­What we’re looking for:

  •  A degree qualification in a relevant area with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and / or training.
  • Pre-existing knowledge and / or experience in using a web-based IT system for managing work activities would be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated technical IT skills to undertake technical tasks as an admin user.
  • Ability to gather information to identify business processes, develop process documentation, correspondence, and reports.
  • Ability to contribute positively as a team member and provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders and work constructively with the software vendor.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $99,698 comprising base salary within the range of $76,302 to $85,212 plus 17% superannuation.
