About the Information and Digital Services
Information and Digital Services (IDS) are a pivotal resource of the University, providing information and digital technology services and support to the Flinders University staff and student community. The IDS team apply technical expertise to support university projects and provide core services such as the IDS Service Desk, Audio visual, simulation and event services, Information security and identity access management services and more.   
 
About the Role 


As the IDS Platforms Analyst and Coordinator, you will be responsible for contributing to analysis, support and coordination activities for the relevant platforms and applications in alignment with Flinders University IDS frameworks, principles, and policies.
Your key position responsibilities will include:


  • Support, configure and maintain platforms including CRM and web technologies

  • Support the technical change, configuration, and release management process for various platforms.

  • Manage business change impact and continuous development of relevant platforms and applications.

  • Work with corresponding stakeholders to implement the vision and relevant roadmap.

  • Assist in the delivery of new/enhanced technologies.

  • Identify, Manage, and Mitigate risks.


About You 
To be successful in this role, you will be a problem solver with well-developed interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and respond to customer queries.
You will possess a growth mindset and have extensive interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including customers and staff across the University.

In addition, you will have experience supporting and maintaining Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications and Software as a service and enterprise applications and systems. General knowledge and experience in the design and execution of application upgrades including planning, test plan, execution, and program close out using good change management principles and practices will also be demonstrated.
You will have obtained an appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant technical area, and / or equivalent relevant experience in an IT environment. Higher education experience is advantageous.
Technology Skills required

  • Experience in supporting CRM and web applications

  • Knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, Java Script

  • Experienced in Microsoft suite (advanced Excel skills)

  • Knowledge of CRM, Marketing and Web technology concepts
