Overview
The Human Resources Services Centre (HRSC) encompasses a range of functions to enable the University to effectively achieve its strategic priorities, manage and develop its workforce and minimize risk to its operations and organisational sustainability. HRSC employees are involved in both generalist and specialist roles including staff planning, workplace relations, recruitment, safety, performance and change management.

The University adopts a business-partner model for the delivery of HR services which are supported by specialist advice and central processes. Specifically, this role within the HR Services team, provides customer-focused operational and administrative support to the following key areas: Position Management; Recruitment and Onboarding; Managing Performance; Workplace Conditions; and Change Management.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thinks critically and has a continuous improvement mindset. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic HR Services team providing HR support and advice to managers and employees across the University. The Human Resources Advisers are agile process experts who thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone to join the team who demonstrates the following capabilities:

  • Exposure to or experience in an HR environment, with a good understanding of recruitment practices;
  • Exceptional customer focused skills with the ability to build solid relationships;
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work on independent assignments as well as collaboratively as part of an integrated team;
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Note: Tertiary qualification in HR or relevant discipline OR experience in a HR generalist role is preferred.

Benefits & Remuneration
These roles attract remuneration of $73,257 to $81,404 pa (HEW 5) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
