About the position

 

You will play a pivotal role in shaping CQUniversity’s success by ensuring that our people practices are aligned with strategic objectives. Your primary focus will be to coordinate and oversee the quality assurance of all job evaluation processes and perform a lead role in undertaking end-to-end job analysis and evaluation processes to ensure CQUniversity employees receive fair and equitable pay based on work value. You will advise on position and/or team design and participate in key projects that support strategic HR / people change management initiatives. 


You will need:

 

  • Knowledge of awards/industrial legislation and standards and/or an ability to quickly acquire knowledge of conditions of employment (Enterprise Agreements), policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Well-developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interview, research and writing skills and the ability to undertake job analysis, prepare quality position descriptions, undertake relativity checks within and outside the university and draft reports with recommendations for management consideration.

Desirable

 

  • A bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Knowledge of global job evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience in HR consulting, job analysis, and change management.
