Are you someone who thrives on tasks requiring keen attention to detail?

As the Scholarly Resources Project Officer (HEW 5), you'll collaborate closely with our team of experts to streamline the availability and organisation of licensing data pertaining to publishers and access entitlements within our library systems.

Your role will involve managing the integration of licensing information into our library and records management systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with licensing agreements.

In this role you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our compliance and access to essential scholarly resources now and into the future.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in the establishment of day-to-day processes and workflows for the management of licence agreements for scholarly eResources in the Library Service Platform.
  • Read, interpret, and problem solve scholarly resources license terms and the process a targeted subset of licences in the Library Service Platform.
  • Ensure terms of use are viewable to clients in the Library Service Platform.
  • Archive licenses and agreements in the University’s Records Management System.
  • Carry out data analysis work and provide general administration for the project, including monitoring project risks and regularly communicating project progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

This 7-month fixed term position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

What we offer

The remuneration for this position is from $77,858 to $90,316 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work, manage time and workloads, solve problems and maintain attention to detail when managing competing demands from multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in developing and writing procedures and work instructions
  • Demonstrated competency with IT and capacity to build digital workplace skills to support work and deliver outcomes.
