The opportunity
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to contribute to the strategic direction for Social Marketing @ Griffith in facilitating positive social change. The primary focus of this role is to provide the Centre with prominent branding and visual identity to convey its world-leading position in social marketing and delivers materials for social change campaigns.

As Graphic Designer, you will work together with the Deputy Director (Engagement) and the Business Development Manager to produce digital and printed marketing and communications material for the Centre and Centre-led social change projects, including images, brochures, flyers, posters, infographics, website pages, keynote presentations and other forms of visual identity and communications.

This is a fixed term (9 months), full time position based at the Nathan campus. it is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role. Further, you may be required to work on either a temporary or an indefinite basis at any premises, which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire or at any premises at which it may from time to time provide services.

About you
We are seeking an exceptional Graphic Designer with the following:

  • Proven professional creative and technical ability in graphic design (including pre-press and print production).
  • Experience delivering projects from concept brief through to production.
    Ability to illustrate graphic and vectors to support the Centre’s brand identity and change program identities.  
  • Ability to manage deadlines and competing work priorities.
  • Passionate attitude toward social, environmental and health change that benefits people, the community and our planet.

Salary range
Base salary: $69,109 - $77,529 (pro rata) per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $80,858 - $90,709 (pro rata) per annum.
