Position Overview

An opportunity exists for a motivated individual in a role that supports the management and disbursement of funding that supports learning abroad opportunities and activities at the Australian National University and international partners. 

Global Programs (GP) is a specialist team who are accountable for the implementation, delivery, and support of learning abroad programming at the Australian National University, The team provides support to colleges, students, and other stakeholders in the provision of credit bearing international study experiences for both ANU students going abroad and international students wishing to come to ANU as a non-award exchange or study abroad students. Global Programs also manage the Universities learning abroad funding including OS-HELP, New Colombo Plan, and the ANU Vice Chancellors Coursework Travel Grants. 

The Grants and Systems Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective administration of all funding programs that support ANU Global Programs including Australian Government grants programs, OS-HELP, ANU Vice-Chancellor’s Travel Grants, and other scholarship programs. The Grants and Systems Officer ensures funding administration meets all internal and external requirements, including the reporting requirements of the Australian Government. The position is responsible for the administration of the ANU Global Programs System used for international mobility applications. This role develops and coordinates training and support for ANU Central and College staff utilising the ANU Global Programs System.

Our ideal candidate will be personable, and able to provide a high level of customer service, with excellent time management skills. They will be known for being detail oriented, process driven with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience managing finances or funding within a higher education institution will be highly desirable.
