  • We now have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and organised Gift Implementation Officer to join the Advancement Portfolio and maximise philanthropic impact for the University

  • Located at Camperdown/Darlington campus

  • Fixed term until December 2023

The Gift Implementation team drives the timely, strategic and compliant implementation of philanthropically funded initiatives by recipient areas to increase donor confidence and repeat giving.

This is an exciting time to join the most successful fundraising team in Australia! Following the nation’s first $1 billion-dollar fundraising campaign, the Advancement portfolio is anticipating a significant increase in staffing levels over the coming years.

The Gift Implementation Officer will assist the Gift Implementation Manager in all gift implementation activities (gift feasibility analysis, supporting gift acceptance and processing, gift establishment and delivery, gift implementation advisory, capability development). The role drives the efficient and timely administration of gifts and implementation by recipient areas.

  • will work closely with Development Officers to gather and formally document background knowledge on new significant and other strategic gifts to facilitate compliant and timely gift implementation via recipient areas

  • will support the Gift Implementation Team in providing input into the feasibility of potential gift opportunities to ensure that they are deliverable and align with the University's gift acceptance policy

  • are accurate, have exceptional attention to detail and are highly organised. Planning, analysis and communication skills together with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands

  • have excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies.
