The Gama-gii Indigenous Masters Scholarship is generously supported by Brand Architects to provide financial support and encourage Indigenous Australian students to pursue postgraduate studies in the field of architecture.

The financial support from my scholarship allows me to work less, focus more on my studies, and contribute through the Access Monash mentoring program. It has also connected me with a scholarship donor who worked in my field, and is now a great mentor to me as I work out where I want to end up and how to navigate the challenges of studying an Engineering degree.

Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:

• An Indigenous Australian

You must meet the following criteria:

• Commencing or current student, enrolled in or intending to enrol in the Master of Architecture degree in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at a Monash campus in Australia.
• From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories .
• Demonstrating leadership and community engagement or participating in industry engagement opportunities.

**To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. Selection criteria

• Awarded based on academic achievement and need.

To retain this scholarship:

• You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.
